Background
I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, and an Certified Nutrition Coach, and have helped many people improve their eating habits, and overall health. Lifting and eating right is everything to me, and I cannot imagine my life without this lifestyle. My plan is to compete in a bodybuilding show in 2027, and I have dedicated the last 4 years to very disciplined training. My progress exploded once I started eating correctly which was in the beginning of 2025. I was always told to “eat big to get big”, in some ways that’s true, but I took it too far. I am 6’0″ tall and weigh around 170lbs. My junior year of high school I bulked up to 230 pounds and ruined my athletic abilities for my tennis season for high school. Tennis was always a big part of my life, but lifting was where my passion was. I played all 4 years of high school tennis on varsity and as a freshman I was #2 singles. Sophomore- Senior year I was #1. The summer of 2023 is where I went up to 230 pounds, and the fall of 2024 I went down to 185 pounds. I had already put on a good amount of muscle and wanted to lean out for my upcoming tennis season in the spring of 2025. In the spring of 2025, I got down to 157 pounds and had my best tennis season while still putting on muscle. Today I now currently play for my college team as #3 singles and am getting prepared to compete in a bodybuilding show soon. Overall, I know how to help people lose weight because I did it myself. Losing weight is one thing but keeping muscle/gaining muscle when losing weight is very difficult. That is why I am here to help; I can help anyone no matter what stage they are at.
My thoughts on what foods we should be eating to thrive and perform at the highest level
I believe that we were meant to eat single ingredient whole foods that will help our bodies recover and perform as they should. The main foods I recommended for anyone is meat, dairy, honey, fruit and some vegetables. Not only will these foods fuel your performance and recovery, but they have also been shown to positively affect your energy, and your overall health. A quick background story, I used to have very intense migraines and got told that I needed medication in order to get rid of them. The medication did help, but it did not get rid of the migraines or get to the root cause. I was still having them many times a week, I would just recover better after the headache. I started getting annoyed, and then I got many of side effects that occur when taking the medication. After all of this I decided to take it into my own hands and realized that me eating processed foods, was the main cause. After this realization I completely stopped eating any fast foods/ processed food and have found that headaches have gone away. I think anyone who is struggling with migraines, or anything else should try an elimination diet, and find out the root cause of the problem. This is my own personal belief, but everyone should consider it and do the research themselves and decide. I am not a doctor by any means, and would never claim to be, but I have experience with many different things, and have found what has helped me, and others.
